‘In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. By Time, indeed humanity is in a state of loss. Except those who believe and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of truth and in the mutual teaching of patience’ (Surah al-`Asr, 103:1-3)
"Professional Architect lives almost by faith. When called upon he can do the job without fear or favour. He possesses aspecialized skill and lives by a code of ethics cloaked in honour andintegrity. He is expected to speak his mind and give his views. Whenfaced with absolute wrong, he can resolutely disagree and walk away." quote from THE PROFESSIONAL MAN by Ar Dr Tan Loke Mun PRESIDENT PAM

INDUSTRIALISED CONSTRUCTION - ARC 722
Back in Dec 2002
This is my assignment for Building Construction subject during 1st year degree. The report is done based on our own Design subject on high-rise. It is a good practice to have an integrated approach on the learning process. It complement with your design.
It would not be the best among all, but it good enough for the lecturers to keep it as example to their next apprentice. Hopefully it will also help others. And getting an "A" for it doesn't really matter now in real life. What really matters is you have done the best and learn the most.
This assignment shows how much I wanted to know about how the building works. I even made structural analysis for the tower. I've learn a lot but yet not enough. Even personal in the technical area are still learning and learning. They become skilled at it especially from their real life mistake on site.
I just hold my teeth on this technical ability for sometimes. Every architects have the ability too learn all rounded architectural process as what we have been guided in years from architectural school. In the end we will find the best place to fit us in the big industry. Everyone will have their place eventually. And I will find mine.
