‘In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. By Time, indeed humanity is in a state of loss. Except those who believe and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of truth and in the mutual teaching of patience’ (Surah al-`Asr, 103:1-3)
"Professional Architect lives almost by faith. When called upon he can do the job without fear or favour. He possesses aspecialized skill and lives by a code of ethics cloaked in honour andintegrity. He is expected to speak his mind and give his views. Whenfaced with absolute wrong, he can resolutely disagree and walk away." quote from THE PROFESSIONAL MAN by Ar Dr Tan Loke Mun PRESIDENT PAM

MASA DAN KENANGAN

MASA DAN KENANGAN
masa dan kenangan,

pergi dan berlalu,
tidak bisa kembali;
memori itu,

apakah waktu terhenti,
bisa perjalananku tamat disini,
atau bisakah is kekal seperti itu,
selama dan bersamanya,

kini waktu itu berubah,
berdetik dan berdetik,
seperti degupan jantungku;
akan debaran cintamu,

biarlah ia terus berdetik,
tanpa henti dan penghujung,
seperti kasihku kepadamu;
untuk waktu ini dan di waktu lain,

waktuNya yang menentukan,
waktuNya jua yang memisahkan,
aku berdiri di menara waktu;
menyatakan waktu lalu bisa kembali!

Puisi untuk wardina - Kembara Taiping

This poem tries to capture the time and memories spent together with my beloved wife. it expresses the emotional attachment that i have for her and how i wished for the moment and the love for her to be eternal.

The poem was written quite a long time ago in my old travel book. During those times I'd always go for travelling and make sketches of places that I visited. Sometimes those sketches came together with spontaneous poems which came across my mind at the moment. It documented the emotions that I felt during that time. (Didn't have video camera-couldn't afford one)I should continue the book....to be continued.

"A poem is never finished, only abandoned."Paul Valery

Ambroise-Paul-Toussaint-Jules Valéry (French IPA: [vale'ʀi]) (October 30, 1871July 20, 1945) was a French poet, essayist, and philosopher. His interests were sufficiently broad that he can be classified as a polymath. In addition to his fiction (poetry, drama and dialogues), he also wrote many essays and aphorisms on art, history, letters, music, and current events. from wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Val%C3%A9ry
